When Divorce is Right

Sometimes, everything works out; hopes become reality, faith proves fruitful, and contentment abounds.  Do you know that feeling?  That all-is-right-with-the-world feeling?  When you are certain, without doubt, that everything worked out exactly as it was meant to?

When I was young, I built my dreams upon a man who betrayed me.  I was married to him.  Briefly. Then he shattered my trust and razed my self-worth.  My dreams became as barren as chaff on an arid wind.

But time erodes everything; blazes become ashes and broken hearts mend.  Once, long ago, he was my world.  Now he's just somebody that I used to know.

  2. Maybe the lesson is not to make another person responsible for your happiness and dreams, whether they're THE ONE or not. But Lord, that's hard, isn't it? Love that piece of music.

  3. Good for you for recognizing that and leaving. I think the hardest thing is when people don't leave, but stay because of fear.

  6. Hey,

    The video is just amazing!

Sometimes the hardest of decisions can end in making our life's much more easier, we fail to understand that because we prefer to shield ourselves from the pain.
