Yes, my pretties! The
parade of Halloween paraphernalia persists (as well as more artfully authored
alliterations)! Today, I want to share with you a clip from an old
Canadian children's show that has become a cult classic - The Hilarious House
of Frightenstein. I loved loved loved this show when I was a child - which
maybe explains quite a lot. Anyway...I want to share with you a clip of my favourite character, Grizelda
the Ghastly Gourmet. Enjoy!

I love to read your comments, but don't forget to link them back to your webpage.
I would've been so scared of Grizelda as a kid. She is ghastly indeed, cooking up mess in a pot. I wasn't into the scary business as a kid, even though I loved Halloween. The treats, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI was really into monsters and witches as a kid. But there was a lot of it in the culture back then: Scooby Doo and the Mystery Gang, The Munsters, Casper the Friendly Ghost, even Sesame Street had a Count and monsters!
ReplyDeleteWhere was Grizelda when I was a kid? She's fantastic. She reminds me of my second grade teacher. I'm not kidding.
